My Journey to Ethical Leadership

I have a deeply personal relationship with what is just and what is fair, which has driven me in my personal and my professional life and shaped every role I’ve held and every challenge I have taken on.

Authenticity, fairness, accountability and inclusion became the cornerstones to my foundation upon which I built my career on. I wanted more than just EDI and CSR tick boxes. I wanted authenticity that ran throughout an organisational structure, which led me to leading with openness and authenticity in my career and to Ethical Leadership.

However, championing Ethical Leadership solely in the roles I had was a slow way to spread the word, so I built educational content to explain, what it is, why it matters and how you can benefit from it.

Whether you’re looking to explore the topic personally or embed ethical practices into your organisation’s culture, I will work with you to create something meaningful, practical, and lasting.

This can be anything from:-
• Bespoke presentations or workshops for organisations
• Bespoke coaching sessions for individuals
• Speaking at panels, conferences, and leadership events
• Advisory support on ethical frameworks, HR, and safeguarding initiatives

Every programme I offer is tailored to the people, culture, and ambitions of those I work with.

What is Ethical Leadership?

Ethical leadership as a concept has been around since the early 2000s as a model of leadership which focuses on doing the “right” thing.

But what is the right thing? Whilst the answer maybe be crystal clear and universal in certain cases, mostly it won’t be. And even when you are certain on the right thing, doing the right thing doesn’t always equate to easy.

So, whilst a leader sets the tone for others to follow, an Ethical Leader, is a leader who is driven to lead with integrity, and courage, in order to be a catalyst for change and leave a lasting, positive impact.

Ethical leadership isn’t just about individuals or organisation, it isn’t just about profits and progress, or about ticking boxes. It’s how we build trust, shape culture, and lead with integrity every day in order to build a world where the next generation is thankful to the one before.

Ethical Leadership isn’t a nice to have, it’s a necessity, and it doesn’t happen by accident. It’s a culture you build, day by day, person by person, organisation by organisation.

Whether you’re looking to explore the topic personally or embed ethical practices into your organisation’s culture, I will work with you to create something meaningful, practical, and lasting.
